Tomas O’Leary Irelands scrum half has been ruled out of the lions tour to South Africa due to injury.
He was stretchered off the field in the first half with a fractured ankle.
Munsters website released this statement on their web site about the incident “It goes without saying that we are very disappointed to lose a player of Tomas’s stature at this crucial stage of the season.â€
Welshman Dwayne Peel, England’s Danny Care, Scotland captain Mike Blair and Stringer are the candidates to replace O’Leary in the Lions Squad.
